Message from Beverley Kalnin, Director

Dear FLC supporters and friends,

I would like to offer a special thanks to all of you.  In the midst of Daniel Kalnin’s recent passing, you have given us strength and courage to carry on. Further, many of you donated funds to help cover medical expenses incurred during Daniel's illness and funeral expenses too.  I would also like to thank you for your encouraging e-mails, cards, phone calls and prayers for my family and me throughout this difficult time.  Words cannot express how much it has meant to all of us.  It is at times like this that you realize how important our partners and friends are and how they come through in times of need.  May God bless you abundantly for your love and kindness extended to our family.

Further, I would like to announce that as of February 2009, the FLC USA and FLC Canada boards have approved my nomination as overall FLC Mission Director.  I will continue on with the mission that Daniel and I began some 30 years ago.  I will not give up the ministry as there is still much to be done!  Our FLC staff and evangelists  unanimously and wholeheartedly agreed to continue working with FLC , promising to do their best and to assist and support me in this great undertaking.  I will need your prayers and help to accomplish this.  I cannot do it on my own but only through God's power, wisdom and guidance and through the help of many others with the  skills needed to continue the work.  We would greatly appreciate any help that you can give us.  FLC is God's ministry not Daniel's or my own. God will continue to bless, lead and use FLC in a great way for His ultimate purposes and glory.
