Ministry Trips

Learn about the people of the Golden Triangle and how FLC is impacting the nations for Christ by taking a trip to Discover the World Around You: Thailand.

The following mission trips are sponsored by Cherry Hills Community Church, which has supported the work of Beverley and the late Daniel Kalnin at FLC for over 25 years.

Knowing how to read and speak English allows the students to obtain higher paying jobs. No special skills are needed. Curriculum and lesson plans are provided and prepared prior to the team's departure for Thailand.

Join us, even if you have never taught. This will be the experience of your life!

Water Project

FLC is looking for a team to construct a water project in a refugee village in northern Thailand. This project consists of placing a three-inch pipe from a fresh water source to a holding tank to the village. All materials will be at the site, and we will work with local people to construct the project. FLC will provide our team with an English and Thai speaking project manager and experienced cooks to prepare our food. During the project, the team will stay at the village.

Skills needed:

Operating a shovel, drill, and hammer.

It has been proven that fresh water supplies reduce the mortality rates of infants, small children, and the elderly. These projects have also proven to open doors to those who have not yet followed Jesus and live in the villages. You will be showing the love of Christ and sharing experiences that will last for a lifetime!
