FLC is looking for a team to construct a water project in a refugee village in northern Thailand. This project consists of placing a three-inch pipe from a fresh water source to a holding tank to the village. All materials will be at the site, and we will work with local people to construct the project. FLC will provide our team with an English and Thai speaking project manager and experienced cooks to prepare our food. During the project, the team will stay at the village.
Skills needed:
Operating a shovel, drill, and hammer.
It has been proven that fresh water supplies reduce the mortality rates of infants, small children, and the elderly. These projects have also proven to open doors to those who have not yet followed Jesus and live in the villages. You will be showing the love of Christ and sharing experiences that will last for a lifetime!
Dates: November 5–20, 2011
Cost:
The estimated cost is $3,000 based on current airfares, and includes construction supplies, airfare, lodging, meals, ground transportation, health and accident insurance, emergency evacuation insurance, and a donation to FLC. Fundraising training will be available.

Five to ten people. Due to the nature of the trip, participants should be in good physical condition.
